College Union Election 2023-24: SVEEP

The College SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) Committee actively participated in the Students’ Union Election held on 16/09/2023. The committee played a vital role in promoting electoral awareness and encouraging informed voting among students. It rendered valuable services throughout the election process, ensuring smooth and fair conduct. Their efforts significantly contributed to increased student engagement and the successful election of student leaders for the academic year 2023-24.

Objective of the Students’ Union Election:

The primary objective of the Students’ Union Election was to promote democratic values among students by giving them an opportunity to elect their representatives in a free and fair manner. It aimed to foster leadership qualities, responsibility, and active participation in institutional governance among the student community.

Outcome of the Election:

The election was successfully conducted on 16/09/2023 with active participation from the student body. A new team of student leaders was elected for the academic year 2023-24, representing the voice and interests of the students. The process enhanced political awareness, strengthened democratic practices on campus, and encouraged greater involvement in college activities.
