Awareness Exhibition : Department of PG Studies in Food Science and Nutrition

The Department of PG Studies in Food Science & Nutrition organized an awareness exhibition cum competition on account of World Tobacco Day on the topic “Quit Smoking Today To Live Young Tomorrow” on 31st May 2024 in the M. Sc department at 1.00 pm. The faculty in charge for the competition was Ms. Indira Badya of M. Sc FSN department. A total of 10 teams consisting of 2 students each participated in the event and presented their ideas through creative and artistic flipcharts. On the completion of the event , the students were provided with the link of the feedback & e-certificates were given to the students who had successfully filled the feedback form. The artistic flipcharts were judged by Ms. Sindhu Rai, former Dietitian, AJ Hospital and Research Centre, Mangalore & Ms. Naseera S, Assistant Professor, Besant Women’s College on parameters such as relevance to the topic, originality/innovation, artistic composition and presentation. Of the 10 teams that participated, 1st place was secured by team no 7 - Khadeejath Rilvana AS & Fahiza (2nd M.Sc. FSN), 2nd place by team 5- Neha Rawal & Sathvi KG (2nd M.Sc. FSN) and 3rd place by team 2- Amina Safwa & Manal Azim (2nd M.Sc. FSN), team 3- Aysha Shafa & Salwa Sherin (2nd B.Sc. FND)
