Theatre & Drama club (Benaaka)

The combination of drama, Theatre, and education has existed since Plato established his Academy. He thought that simply teaching a pupil about an idea is insufficient; a good teacher must instil in a student the ability to think critically and the need of value education.(Simply spoon-feeding and making the student to gulp down whatever is given may prove to be disastrous to the society.)

Drama and theatre are both important vehicles for self-expression, and employing drama as a teaching technique engages students academically, physically, socially, and emotionally. The use of theatre and art in our College promotes holistic learning, accelerates personality development, and provides pupils with important life skills such as problem-solving, leadership, teamwork, and collaboration. It also helps to develop and control various emotions that one comes across in Life and improve Dialog Delivery coupled with emotions.
