IQAC Objective and By-law


The core aim of the IQAC is to develop a system for a conscious, consistent and catalytic action to improve the Academic and Administrative performance of the institution.


  • Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for the various Academic and Administrative activities.
  • Reviews the teaching, learning process, structure and methodology of operations and learning outcome of all the programmes at periodic intervals
  • Organising Workshops, Seminars and Special lectures on quality related themes as well   as promotion of Quality Circles
  • Conducting Orientation and Training Programmes for Outcome based Education
  • Equipping skill based competencies for Employability and Entrepreneurship 
  • Structured counselling and Leadership programmes for the Student Council 
  • Documentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement 
  • Administering feedback mechanism for the Institution from various Stakeholders 
  • Conducting Academic Administrative Audit (AAA) and Curricular Audit annually 
  • Timely submission of AQAR 
  • Actively participate and interact in the monthly review meetings of the Departments by offering 
  • Suggestions and creating quality consciousness 
  • Effective skill learning, inculcation of values and promotion of research culture for quality enhancement 
  • Actively involving all academic excersises to achieve Center for Potential Excellence and Autonomous status 
  • Dissemination of information through National Survey on Higher Education, All India Survey on Higher 
  • Education (AISHE) initiated by Ministry of Human Resource Development


IQAC shall evolve mechanisms and procedures for

  • Ensuring timely, efficient and progressive performance of Academic, Administrative and Financial tasks
  • Optimisation and Integration of modern methods of Teaching, Learning and Evaluation
  • Ensuring the adequacy, maintenance and functioning of the support structure


IQAC will facilitate/contribute

  • To a heightened level of clarity and focus in institutional functioning towards quality enhancement and facilitate internalization of the Quality Culture
  • To the enhancement  and integration among the various activities of the Institution and Institutionalize many good practices
  • To provide a sound basis for decision making to improve Institutional functioning
  • To act as a change agent in the Institution for Quality Enhancement
  • To develop Leadership at different levels and facilitate effective communication
