The Department of Commerce and Business Administration On November 4, 2023, final year B.Com and BBA students, accompanied by faculties Ms.Vidya Bhat, Ms.Latha Hebbar Ashwini Prabhu and Ms.Reshma, embarked on an enlightening industrial visit to Asar Bottling Industry and Cocoa Rich Agri LLP in Ganjimutt.

Objectives:

  • Gain insights into the step-by-step procedures involved in the production
  • Familiarize with the machinery, technology, and equipment used in the production process.
  • Learn about how raw materials are sourced, stored, and managed within the production facility.
  • Understand the methods and techniques employed to ensure the quality of the final products.

The visit commenced at Asar Bottling Industry, where the production process was meticulously explained by the industry experts. Additionally, students were provided with samples of their products for a firsthand tasting experience.

After our visit to Asar Bottling Industry, we proceeded to Cocoa Rich Agri LLP. The team informed us about their impressive 5-acre landholding, which includes production facilities such as a sugar mixing machine, blending machine, steaming process, packing, and labeling. Additionally, they have a state-of-the-art R&D lab for product testing, as well as a boiler. They offered a detailed explanation to the students regarding the entire production process.

  • Students gained a comprehensive understanding of the production processes involved in both industries, including the handling of raw materials, processing, quality control, and packaging.
