Certificate Course “Photoshop Primer”
The departmentof secretarial Practice was instrumental in starting yet another certificateCourse in Photoshop – Image editing concepts titled “Photoshop Primer”
The participantswere students from BA and B. Com. The classes were split in two batches to suitthe timings of the students on Saturdays.
Prof. Hemalathaand Mr. Ravinder Murthy handled classes for each batch.Prior to the actual classes an orientation for Photoshop wasconducted on 15th July, 2017.
The valedictoryfunction was held on 06.10.2017. The resource person for the Photoshop classes,Mr. Murthy said that learning should be a continuous process. He stressed onthe fact that Practicing on Photoshop Components should not be left as soon asthe certificate is obtained. One should keep on practicing the learnt conceptsand have an inclination to delve deeper into the subject. He also invited thestudents for the “Photoshop Primer” Classes for the 2nd term.
The resourceperson appreciated the efforts put by Prof. Hemalatha for bringing the “PhotoshopPrimer” – Learning Photoshop Concepts within the reach of the students.
Many staffmembers belonging to different departments were present on this occasion. ProfRanjini and Prof Vidya Bhat were also present along with Ms. Shaila Kamath.Prof. Vidya Bhat proposed the vote of thanks.
Totally 24students were awarded the completion certificate. The duration of the coursewas 20 hours.
